A colorblind gradient nail art

For Lela's nail art Sunday the theme of this week was "promises". Appropriate since we at least in Sweden have a tradition of taking new years promises at the new year. Maybe you in other countries do that too I guess? I'm not the person who make any promises though, still I knew what to do for this Sunday. I figured that a promise is close to a wish..right? ;) And I do wish that the following year will be great. So from darkness to light..Yes, I made a gradient and tried out one of my new polishes from Dandy Nails - Colorblind.

And yes, I loved this polish. It contains of 1MM black and white hexagons in a clear base. I used two thick coats for this nail art.

Polishes used:
HM Nail Polish - Miss Stone Heart
Kleancolor - Black
Kleancolor  - White
ZTIZ Nail Polish  (white)
Dandy Nails - Colorblind

  2. WOW! These are gorgeous Gelic'!!! Love them!!!
The gradient is perfect and the black and white glitter on top of it is the icing of the cake so to speak!! :D
And of course a promise is close to a wish! ;) Goes without saying ;)
Do you know what?! I just eyeballed this Dandy Nail polish on Etsy only like an hour ago!! And then I see it here!?!? Must be a sign that I need to get it... Right?? ;)

    1. Thank you for your kind words! :D I really liked the idea of a gray gradient with black and white glitter. Like if the lightest in the gradient isn't white so that the white glitter shows it self there as well and that the darkest polish isn't black so that the black glitter shows it self there as well.
Yes, I think you should go get it, I loved it! I must also say that I got another polish like this from Dandy Nails, namely "Colorblind^2", it has smaller glitter. Maybe not necessary to have but I just had to! :D

    2. The name of the polish is so funny "Colorblind" since it's only black and white :D
I can buy a polish just for it's witty name! Well, it has to be at least a litte pretty too ;)
Can't wait until you show Colorblind 2!!! :D

    1. Tack så mycket! Trodde först att tolkningen skulle vara för långsökt men det funkade ju fint. :)
