Gabrini Elegant - 325, swatch

It's a new week and a fun thing is that I've decided to join Little Miss Nail Polish and Polished Marvles in their Vintage Challenge Week, which is to show "old" nail polishes. They've decided a special order in colors and some simpler rules and more info can be found here. And since it's blue for today I'm joining Lindas Nailorama Blue Monday.

The polish of today is Gabrini Elegant - 325. I bought it in Crete for about 3 years ago and this is actually the first time I try it on in an full manicure and not only in a nail art.

I used three coats and application was smooth. It do show some brush strokes but it doesn't bother me.

I first thought it was douchrome but it's really just another color of the shimmer I guess. So basically I'd call it a blue shimmer polish with cyan blue shimmer.
I really liked this and I'm happy that I tried it :D

    1. Hi! Yes, I really like it, the shimmer makes it more interesting I think. Fun to see your entry as well. It can be really fun to rediscover or discover some oldies meanwhile :D

    1. Ja, ibland blir man glad när man hittar så här fina och billiga lack på semestern. Förväntade mig inte att hitta lack då. :)

    1. Haha, I can't believe it either! I've been looking at it several times, but for some reason I've always had something else to try first and then I've forgotten about it almost. When I saw you started off with blue I knew I had to try this. I hadn't heard about this brand before either before I bought it but I can really recommend it! :) And of cause I'm giving information about everything :D

  4. Wow Gelic - I am so happy you joined us <3 - this is AAAAWESOME - it reminds me of the blue of the Ägäis indeed, no wonder you had to buy it in Crete ;-)!!! It looks stunning on you :-). And I so understand that you did not try it for 3 years - my Falling Stars sort of got terribly neglected as well as soon as I stored it away ;-P. And thank you for your shout outs :-D

    1. Thank you! :D I really liked it.. sometime it's just like that, even though the polish seemed very beautiful (I knew this before I bought it!) it was left in the drawer to just wait for this opportunity. :D
No, worries, it was such a neat idea to have a Vintage Week that I had to join it :D

  5. Hi, nice to meet you!
Who cares about brush stroke if the colour is so stunning? Gabrini? Never covered before, it's seems to me like an italian family name. Very crazy. ;)

    1. Hi Franchine! :D
Yes, I agree with you, the brush strokes doesn't bother me the tiniest thing! I really liked this.
Hihih, and I so agree with you, Gabrini sounds italian! I have no idea where it comes from original though. Now when I just googled some text on the bottle it came up as Serbian so maybe it is?! :P
