#clairestelle8challenge had 'out of comfort zone' as a theme and it was quite obvious that water marble should be my choice.😝 I ended up with something looking like a tie dye, or octopus tentacle. I dunno. But I liked it.

31DC2015 - Day 6; violet - Purple pencil nail art
Day 6 in the 31dc2015 and it's violet nails. However I guess violet or purple doesn't matter. I got a fun stamping idea that felt good for purple (so yes, this is something as unusual as a NOTD). I used my stamping plate from Born Pretty Store which I got for review and has talked about HERE before. I feel very happy that stamping has started to get simpler, and you who has followed me for long know that I've struggled before. I think I've reach a huge improvement this year, and I'm aware that all nails aren't perfect but I think that each time gets better and better at least. :)
I started with a violet base and then stamped the full pattern on each of my nails except one accent. On my accent I picked up the pattern as usual but removed all pencils except one from the stamper and then stamped that in the middle of my nail. After everything was dry I used a Promarker pencil and filled in some color inside the pencils and also made the colored parts on my accent. Really happy how this turned out. :)

Saran Wrap tutorial
My internet has been crappy today so here's a late post; a tutorial I've done of Saran Wrap. A very simple yet fun nail art.
I've showed this purple/black saran wrap yesterday but in this post I have some more left over photos too (lol).
And onto the tutorial (click to make it larger):
I guess you can figure out from the pictures but here are some further guidelines:
1. Start with a dry base. Like your old mani or make sure you wait until it's completely dry. I've chosen a bright purple.
2-3. Have another polish ready, I've chosen a creme black. Get some saran wrap, or honestly any plastic bag/wrap will work. Make it into a ball when you use it.
4. Paint preferably one or two nails each time and paint your new color on top of the dry base. Remember to not make it too thin, just regular to thick depending on your preferences.
5-6. Then immediately take your ball of plastic wrap and dab all over the nail leaving residues of the new color in a random pattern, letting the old polish show through. If the new color, here black, is too dominant, it's possible to reapply black again, and then repeat the dabbing process.
7. Make the rest of your nails.
8. Do cleanup and put on tc.
9. Enjoy. ;)
Do you like Saran wrap nail art's? Have you tried it? :)

Saran wrap in purple and black
Can't believe that it's almost December, in Sweden we "celebrate" 1st Advent today, ie. lightning the first out of four candles four Sunday's before Christmas. Do you have that or something similar where you come from, you international readers? :)
My nail art for Nail Art Sunday isn't "Christmassy" however, more like gothic nail art in my eyes, being purple and black, in a Saran Wrap nail art. And heads up, there will be a tutorial of this during this week. Also Winter Nail Art Challenge begin soon. :) Let me know what you think. :)
