Lavelle - 269, swatch and layering

This is a gorgeous and unique polish in my stash and it reminds a tiny bit of some sort of bigger glittered Fantasy Fire, even though this hasn't got the color shifts. it is just an optical illusion. The base is a navy blue jelly filled with this red glitters nd since some glitter sits on the bottom and some of the top of the jelly when painted, they seem to have a slight color shift. Since the jelly is sheer I decided to layer it with two easy coats over a blue base (Claudia - 609), the jelly darkened Claudia to the jelly color. This is my blue for Blue Monday and I really liked this!

This is also from a mani swap with @lakobotan.

Lavelle - 349, swatch

I know summer has ended but that doesn't stop us from wearing bright colors, right? (even though I feel slight more into the more dark and dull colors during autumn). Today I'm showing the russian brand Lavelle - 349 which is from their "special" gold line. 349 is a neon jelly with sparse metallic glitter inside making it more complex than your usual neon. I used 3 coats here which on the photos show some VNL, but which didn't bother me irl. The bottle is different and fun in one way, but that also made the brush part a bit shorter than what I'm use to. All in all this is unique in my stash considering the glitter and I really like it.

This was from a maniswap with @Lakobotan, great choice. ;)

Snoopy eating cherries nail art

Here's another mani of me trying to join a bunch of IG nail art challenges combined into one mani. We have Green + Cherries + Paws, at first these seemed a bit off from each other but while googeling I found a picture of Snoopy from Peanuts eating a bowl of cherries, and the inspo was done. XD

I did a saran wrap and some sponging plus neon yellow glitter for the base. Then I just went on with some freehanding, paws on my thumb and pointer, Snoopy on my long finger, cherries on my ring finger and some eaten sticks from cherries. Mattified everything too. I decided to show most photos with flash, than without, because the red came out more clear then, but I still added some photos without flash because the neon yellow glitter showed off slightly better at those, like glowing. I really liked my first Snoopy nail art way more than this one, it was really hard doing snoopy from the front munching cherries, the other one I did was from the side and less details I think.

See how much the Lavelle neon glitter polish is glowing. Here detail pic of my thumb nail.

Here's another one without flash, see how dark the red looked like? But as I said the neon glitter is glowing, and irl it was a combination of the two; glowing glitter but still the red visible.

Hawaiian pineapple palm tree nail art in orange and black

Hi, today's nail art is done for a couple of nail art challenges on instagram. There's always a few nail art challenges going on and a fun way of making them is to combine the different themes. I choose to combine Hawaiian + Palm trees + pineapple + orange, all in one manicure since I figured that they suited each other.

So basically I did a gradient with yellow, light orange and darker orange, then neon yellow glitter on top. Then I freehanded the pineapples and palm trees on top. I also decided to frame the design with white, and then matte top coat on top. Not sure about the white frame though, what do you think?
