Orange cartoon nails / traffic signs? +pedicure

Hi! I've finally finished my summer job and I'm planning to get back to some more regular blogging. :D Starting today with a freshly made NOTD which of course match with the theme of Nail Art Sunday which is; Traffic Signs. Or well, I knew I wanted to make cartoon nails and decided to make them orange to look like a sign of some kind and realized that the swedish "F24" was a match. (a sign to temporarily redirect traffic.) At the end of the post, after the bottles, I have a pedicure nail art in matching colors if you want to check it out. But if you're against feet you have been warned ;)

The sign in question.

Dreamcatcher dotticure nail art

For this Nail Art Sunday I have a manicure I really enjoyed wearing. I've seen it at pinterest in different colors combinations but this time I choose to do it in orange, black and white. What I didn't know was what to call it..I asked in a nail fb group and got "Indian nail art", "dream catcher" and "lace", and the www told me "dotticure pattern" and it could be called "dotticure half moon pattern" too. But I guess this nail art really don't have a well established name (yet)? If you know the name please tell me in the comments.

As I said I really liked this and it was actually simpler to do than I thought, just making a whole bunch of dots. I'm thinking of wearing this again (these photos are from August last year) and then I could make a tutorial of it, you've told me you like those. ;)

Halloween spider funky french

The theme is free at Lelack's Nail Art Sunday this week which fits perfect for the last day of my own Halloween theme week. Today I'm showing you a spider web funky french with accent nail art with 3D spider nail art. I love the colors and pretty much everything about this. It's also a re-design of a nail art I've done for my self for at least three years in a row now and which you can see below;

This is last year's version,
click image to get to the original post.
This year I decided to make a funky french version of it and as I said, I really love this version. I think the gradient was a bit better last year, I prefer using shimmer for that but this year I used a creme and they usually wont blend as well as sheerer polishes. I hope you like this even though the the photos aren't the best, I also prefer photographing my nails directly after I've painted them or at least within two days. Here this is the forth day and there's some tip wear and some wear and tear, it's also something as unusual as a NOTD and not archive pics this time! ;)

31DC2013 Day 23; A Clockwork Orange nail art

Day 23 in this challenge and I feel that even though I really like this challenge it take's a lot of time. Especially since I really like it, it's easy to procrastinate away more important things, which I actually have to do. My basic problem is that I say to my self that "I'm just going to read my blog/paint my nails/blog reading... and after that I'll get into my have-to-stuff". The problem is that I never get to the part where I do the have-to-stuff, so now I'm behind so therefore I've decided to do the opposite, which I should have done in the first place..doh. You'll probably wont notice any difference anyhow, I'll schedule my posts as before but I wont get into the "fun part" until I'm done with the important stuff.

Anyhow, the reason you got here; naaaails. Day 23 is inspired by a movie and my movie of choice is A Clockwork Orange which is also produced and directed by my favorite director; Stanley Kubrick. The nail art it self is quite simple but I really liked it and hope you'll like it too. Right below you can see the inspiration image I used for this nail art.

So what do you think about this nail art? Do you have a favorite movie or perhaps a favorite director? Have you seen any movies by Stanley Kubrick and have you seen A Clockwork Orange and if you did, did you like it?
