Sometime I'm not that content with the nail art I've done and below is one of those. Inspired by this nude crackle manicure, which I liked, I decided to make a 100% pink crackle gradient and I guess I think it became too much and maybe the whole thing looks a bit "thick"? I don't know, what do you think?
Anyhow, it's Pink Thursday and there's at least no doubt that this is pink enough. ;)
Polishes used:
CG - Love's A Beach
Kleancolor - Neon Pink
Kleancolor - Pastel Pink
Isadora Graffiti - Masterpiece Pink
I have to admit your pictures erase and impression of thick - I only see a happy and bright very pretty mani that cheers up any dull winter day xxx
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you for your kind words :)
DeleteFörstår hur du menar, men effekten är cool! Gillar idén!
ReplyDeleteTack, fast jag föredrar nudeversionen ändå ^^
Deletei've never been a fan of crackle polishes but I like your mani"_
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm not either a fan of crackle in general but in gradients they can work, I prefer my nude crackle I showed in the link though ;)
DeleteLäckert tycker jag. Jag gissar att det ser superbra ut på lite avstånd.
ReplyDeleteTack! Ja, det mesta funkar ju bäst på lite avstånd, man blir alltid lite petig när man ser allting förstorat.
DeleteWhat pretty mani :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :P
DeleteI love the kraquel pink polish.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's a swedish brand called isadora :P
DeleteKul att du var med igår :)
ReplyDeleteDu har fått till en riktigt snygg crakle gradient :)
Tack tack ^^
DeleteSo pretty, I love the hot pink! Certainly warming my day up. I don't think it looks thick but I know what you mean, sometimes I see thickness on my own nail polish. But here I don't see it. This makes me curious to play with crackles..! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Ithi! I guess that it is what you say, one see more faults on one self than on other.. Yea, crackle are fun when you get it right, but other times it can easily get ugly.. haha :)
DeleteI looks a little bit thick but hey, it's PINK! Freakin pink so I still love it ^-^
ReplyDeleteHaha.. thanks! Who cares, some times it's like that..still rockin' it though! ;)
Deletemaybe it would look better without top-coat? 'coz like that - texture of crackle top is invisible...
ReplyDeletebut, anyway, I like this mani =)
and I'll remember this technic - gradient with crackle... smart idea =)
Yea, you have a point! The original one (with nude and blue, link in the post) I liked the best without top coat because then the base was shiny and the crackle matte..
DeleteYea, so far the best way to use crackles I know at least. In a regular manicure they can look a bit boring.. :/
