Lavelle - 269, swatch and layering

This is a gorgeous and unique polish in my stash and it reminds a tiny bit of some sort of bigger glittered Fantasy Fire, even though this hasn't got the color shifts. it is just an optical illusion. The base is a navy blue jelly filled with this red glitters nd since some glitter sits on the bottom and some of the top of the jelly when painted, they seem to have a slight color shift. Since the jelly is sheer I decided to layer it with two easy coats over a blue base (Claudia - 609), the jelly darkened Claudia to the jelly color. This is my blue for Blue Monday and I really liked this!

This is also from a mani swap with @lakobotan.

Lavelle - 349, swatch

I know summer has ended but that doesn't stop us from wearing bright colors, right? (even though I feel slight more into the more dark and dull colors during autumn). Today I'm showing the russian brand Lavelle - 349 which is from their "special" gold line. 349 is a neon jelly with sparse metallic glitter inside making it more complex than your usual neon. I used 3 coats here which on the photos show some VNL, but which didn't bother me irl. The bottle is different and fun in one way, but that also made the brush part a bit shorter than what I'm use to. All in all this is unique in my stash considering the glitter and I really like it.

This was from a maniswap with @Lakobotan, great choice. ;)

Geometrical nail art in blue and purple

Some archive photos from last year when I just got my camera so I feel that I overrated the ISO and these are taken in a quite dark room which make them blurry. But, since then I've learned.

Anyhow, this is a nail art I've done similarly before (see HERE and HERE). I've used a blue and purple glitter polish and one blue polish and another purple polish and black fineliner. And mattified! I really like this mani and I assume I'll redo it more times too.

NCC presents: Monochromatic glitter gradient in red

This month the theme of the NCC is "monochromatic" which I have interpreted as doing manicures in nuances of one color. I decided for something simple and elegant; red creme with a red glitter gradient on top. This looked stunning IRL,sadly I don't think the photos capture it as well. Also, I wanted to mattify this one, but time did that thing and it was instead time for removal. I'm also thinking this might be suiting for Christmas, even though it isn't necessarily a christmas-nail art. Hope you'll like this mani. :)

Look at the ring I bought most recently from eBay. Really love it. :)

Pure Ice - Wild thing, swatch

Finally I got to try a Pure Ice polish which I bought in Canada. This avocado green creme is called Wild Thing and is almost a one-coater, but it needed 2 coats to cover in the end. A nuance I really like, even though I'm not sure how wild it is? but nevertheless, a good first acquaintance with Pure Ice. And finally I can join Green Wednesday again, after my long blog pause. :)

Bought at Walmart in Canada for I think about 2 $

Catrice - Polaroid Promises, swatch

Polaroid Promises is from Catrice's Luxary Vintage collection and it has a satin matte effect finish from the start. The color is nougat warm beige brown with bright magenta shimmer which gives a romantic feel when it's matte. Application wise this one is tricky, you need plenty of polish on
the brush (which thankfully isn't Catrices regular brush, which I don't like) because otherwise it looks streaky because it get surface dry very fast. With topcoat it feels like a whole other polish, it's darker, looks brown and where the shine hits, it looks pink, almost like a duochrome but still not. It needed 2 coats to cover.

No top coat and natural light.

Bought at Rossman for about 2 euros.

What do you think about this one? Nougat feel or just meh?
