Well, I've been going through my archive and found these oldies from 2013 and it's time to show them. I have showed them with snowflakes on before but I think I liked them more like this. For more blue manicures, check out Blue Monday. The rainbows are subtle but I like this. :) What do you think?
Above is shot in flourecent light and below are the ones in natural light, the holo effect is less visble but still there. :)

Holo snowflake funky french
Let's look at my Holo snowflake funky french which I did in the beginning of this winter. It's basically a blue and white gradient with white freehanded snowflakes. And then a holo top coat holo polish on top of the smiley. Not super holographic especially in shadow/natural light but still a valid contribution to Holo Friday. What do you think? :)

Catherine Arley - 666, swatch
It's Holo Friday and of course I want to join. This time with this purple berry like scattered holo. I must say that the color accuracy isn't perfect this time, in my pictures it looks so.. dull and maybe too pink but still not far from this either. But who knows, maybe it comes out correct at your screen!? From what I remember the formula was good and it was easy to paint with. This holo is of the "jelly type" if you know what I mean? And I think I used 3 or even 4 coats for this, the uncertainty is because I for some reason I haven't made any notes about this polish. About the name; 666, I thought that it should have been black or red, you know to make the number at least some fun but I guess that it just was coincidence. At the end of this post I've also included a photo of how it looks in the shadow. My final opinions about this then; I think it could have some "old lady feel" to it which I try to shake off, but I like the color, both when it's holo and in the shadow. I think the color is very berry like, the holo subtle and elegant and I will wear it more times but it's not my favorite holo, I prefer the non purple/pink shades.
So, what do you think about this?

Halloween devil fimo nail art on holo background
Hi, hope you all will have a great Friday! I feel very happy today because my brother visited me yesterday, we ate pizza and talked about stuff in general. I don't see him that often since we live far from each other but now he was close by since of work. Another nice thing is that me and my bf are going to visit my parents this weekend. Something more blog related is that I feel like such a bad blogger at the moment, I have only had a limited
time for reading and commenting other people's blogs and even answer
comments on my own blog. I feel lucky that I've been some days ahead
with the halloween theme, otherwise it would have been impossible. First I was going to show you another nail art but then I realized that I'm actually are wearing a holo nail art at the moment and since it's Holo Friday at Skimmerskuggan I changed my plans and decided to show that one instead.
When I started with this I had some other plans and started of by making a gray gradient. The gradient turned out a bit bleh..so I decided to use a gray holographic polish on top and then use some devil's like fimos (I think they're devils at least?) as decoration. This time I decided to have the fimos on all nails. I actually liked the result quite more than I first thought. Oh, and btw, I want to excuse in advance, the photos are mostly taken under a lamp so they aren't the best...

Green holo gradient
Hi, today I must keep the text shorter today but it's still United in Green (initiated by Vacker&Underbar) as a way to show awareness to depression. I've written a lot about it in my previous posts and a tip is also the check out the other ladies showing green this week. Except for green, I also wanted to show something holo like, since it's Holo Friday at Skimmerskuggan. I don't have that many green holos and the ones I got needs sunlight to reach effect. Since the sun isn't something I control I decided to make something that still could look pretty even if the sun decided to go else where and I decided to make a gradient out of three green shimmers. Then I used A silver Catherine Arley polish which I know is very sheer so I use it as a holo top coat. But sitting there in my room in the half shadow I decided to also use Kleancolor's glitter holo in green and I think the effect became amazing. There's both holo shimmer and holo glitter and it's beauty seems impossible to capture properly even though the sun did show. Hope you like it anyhow! :)

Catherine Arley - 804, swatch
I got lucky and the sun is shining! I picked out Catherine Arley - 804 and the photos you're watching is something as unusual as a NOTD. 804 is a bright middle tone to dark pink holo, fuchsia like, I believe that this is one of the newer batches, and I've heard that the old batches where more holographic. First I must say that I'm not that content with the pictures, this polish is much more vibrant and colorful than the pictures show. The rainbows are very very scattered both in reality and pictures and the colors in the "rainbow" I see are warm toned, like yellow and orange. Maybe it's that which make's the color look a bit dull in the photos? This is also that kind of holo where the holo actually only is visible in the sun. What's interesting in this polish is the shimmer, it's barely visible in the photos but it goes towards purple/blue and is beautiful IRL. I like this polish more than I thought I would, on the nails is looks way more interesting than in the bottle. Then again I'm not a pink lover, and there's more interesting holos out there than this in my opinion. Anyhow, don't forget to check out all the other ladies in United in Pink below and also to check out the participants in Holo Friday. :)Below I've also included some photos in natural light and as you can see there's no holo to talk about. It's still pretty but as I said above the color isn't accurate, it's definitely more fuchsia colored and more vibrant.
So, do you got any Catherine Arley? Do you like them or this?

Layering with the holographic Catherine Arley N666
Today it's double joy, I'm still joining the Vintage Challenge week by Little Miss Nail Polish and Polished Marvels and it's also Holo Friday at Skimmerskuggan, and for both the theme is holo.
First I thought that I couldn't join today because I'm at my parents house and I forgot(!) to pack my vintage holos! However, I made a quick check in my archive I actually found holo photos.
This is one coat of Catherine Arley N666 layered over a bubble gum pink shimmer polish . Therefore I'm not sure if it's color accurate to N666 to how N666 would look alone.
However what I'm sure of is that this is a scattered holo, as you can see there's no clear rainbows appearing on the nail.
All shots are in the sun also, and that's because the holo effect disappears in the shadow.
I actually liked this, it feels like a subtle holographic blueberry and milk! ;)
And can you believe that I've got 12 other Catherine Arley holos, and out of them, 10 is untried!

Holographic water marble
Hi! It's Lelack's Nail Art Sunday! If you're in to nail art you'd better drop over there later tonight and check out the link list of todays nail art. The theme this week was free so I'm showing a water marble.
I intended it to look very different from this but I really liked the result anyhow. It felt very metallic and occasionally holographic.
And as you might have guessed, my intention was that the black was suppose to be creme and the holo just holo silver.
I'll make a new try of this soon. :)
