Hi, today's nail art is done for a couple of nail art challenges on instagram. There's always a few nail art challenges going on and a fun way of making them is to combine the different themes. I choose to combine Hawaiian + Palm trees + pineapple + orange, all in one manicure since I figured that they suited each other.
So basically I did a gradient with yellow, light orange and darker orange, then neon yellow glitter on top. Then I freehanded the pineapples and palm trees on top. I also decided to frame the design with white, and then matte top coat on top. Not sure about the white frame though, what do you think?
Polishes used:
Dance Legend - matte top coat
Lavelle - 242
Essence - Have Fun
KIKO - 822
Essence - Polka Holga
R de L Young - White
R de L Young - Black

NCC presents: Neon gradient and palm tree nail art
Happy Monday guys, here's my second post for the Travelling theme for the Nail Challenge Collaborative this July. This time I'm just keeping it simple and you can just think of any place like this. Palm trees, hot, sunny, sunsets, sand, hot water etc, that was the "place" I was thinking for to this.
I started of with a neon yellow, then added pink and blue to make a gradient. As usual the pink blended with the neon yellow and looks like orange, even though no orange was used. In retrospect I'm not really happy with the blue, it looks too metallic to me and didn't blend as well as the pink. The black I just kept simple and just did the same palm trees in silhouettes on all nails. Hope you likes it! :)

Sunset and palm trees nail art
To continue to keep it summery I will show you sunset and palm trees nail art. All made with nail polish, sure you can use acrylic but not so many colors are needed for this. In this case yellow, orange, red, black and white.
Today I actually have two occasion to show when I've worn this. On my first try I only painted my accent nails on my left hand and left the others with funky french. The reason for this is because I'm right handed. ;)
And the other occasion is the one below. I like the colors better, but I think the actual nail art is made a bit sloppier. A reason for this is because I that time had them on all my nails. When I have something "advanced" on all nails I always start painting my right hand with my crappy left hand. After that I try to copy that to my left hand with my "better" right hand. Then I get a much more equal result, which is nice if you want to were the nails for a longer time.
The polishes used are Paris memories and L.A. Colors Art Deco.
