Galaxies.. galaxies galaxies..I wasn't in the mood for the regular ones. When saying galaxy nails they all have the same concept and I will try that out too someday but this time I wanted to make my own interpretation. My first thought was that I wanted a polish that could work as a starry heaven on it's own, I picked Golden Nightmare which I've swatched but yet not shown nor reviewed, it has just stayed hidden in the archive. What I can say about it is that it has it ups and downs, the downside is that it get's gritty and the plus side is that it's a one coater and that the grittiness can be solved with two coats of top coat. With the top coat this is gorgeous, it's not really that dark blue like a real starry heaven, but it do have a bunch of golden glitter or glass-flecks which today will symbolize stars and galaxies. I also attached star-shaped golden metal stud rhinestones on all nails except my accent nail where I placed a bunch of metal beads, and suddenly this nail art turned very edgy and punk rock, however keep in mind it's a punk rock galaxy.. ;)
IRL the glitter showed much more than in the pictures and some time I had a hard time getting focus in the shots. I rarely use flash shots but this time I'll show you one (below) because that was the only way to really show how beautiful the polish is
Polishes used;
Kleancolor - Golden Nightmare
Golden star-shaped metal stud rhinestones
Golden metal beads

31DC2013 Day 10; Gradient with neon glitter
It's day 10 and today's prompt is gradient and if you know me, you know I just love gradients. They're truly awesome, this time I wanted to do a glitter gradient which is perhaps a bit stupid since an upcoming propsy is glitter, however what the mind want.. Perhaps it's not the best glitter gradient ever seen but I liked the neon contrast towards the dark colored blue. I also liked that it was ridiculously super glossy on the nails, of cause with SV on top. It feels like a perfect autumn manicure, very dark but still with some neon sprinkle on top, elegant but still some craziness on it.
Polishes used: Neon Sapphire (ehm, not that neon at all, but a nice blue shade)
Oopsie Daisies - Electric Lemonade

W7 - Black cherry with white flower stickers
Hi!
Seems like yesterday was the third Friday in a row which I didn't have time to blog but things are as they are. For this Saturday I at least got something for you. Not the most difficult nail art, the opposite, stickers and a polish I like a lot, namely W7 - Black Cherry. What I don't like is the quality of my photos, and these one here was still the best on.
Back to the polish, this is actually my second bottle of this. The first one I bought at the swedish store Rusta when I was a child, then W7 had square bottles. I liked it but on day I accidentally broke the bottle and I was forced to throw it away. Last year I ran in to W7 again and I remember the name of the polish and couldn't help my self searching for it. I didn't think it would still be available, but it was!
I remember that the formula was good on this and I'm pretty sure that it covered in one coat even though I'm in the photos have 2-3 coats. The color is like a very dark cherry/plum color towards brown with a hint of purple in it. The photo below is taken with flash to give you a hint of where it's leaning.
And as you see I've embellished my cherry nails with white nail stickers bought at ebay. :)
I really like this dark kind of colors which is almost black but it's obvious that there is a color beneath. Even though they are more appropriate for autumns and not for spring time I guess ;).
I got this for 2,3£ which is 24SEK so it's a good budget option.
