Black and silver leopard nails + makeup haul

 Oh I've been lazy. I've been so tired this week and at Thursday even I understood why, full bursting cold with all the nasty effects of it. I'm still not good, but think I'll go to work tomorrow anyhow.

Anyhow, I've got 4 manis posted on my IG while nothing happened here. So let's change that. :) First out is my black and silver leopard mani which was inspired by the mascara I recently bought. :D

Here's what I bought, foundation primer (kicks), foundation(maybelline), mascara(kicks), eye liner (kicks), lipstick pencil (kicks), matte powder (isadora), and eye shadow primer (kicks). Basically a lot of Kicks products. So far I've tried most of the stuff. Worth mentioning is the the foundation primer which actually works really well. The lipstick pencil is great except that it dries my lips after a while. And the eye liner last without ever smudging, but is also a bit harder to applicate as I'm used to a pencil, not a marker tip. And well, the foundation, mascara and powder I've used before and they work great for me. :)

Freehand 3D water melon nail art

I just love making water melon nail art but somehow I haven't got them photographed before.

I did a neon pink to pink gradient. Did the green smiley and the water melon pattern outside. Then seeds and outlining and shine in white. Hope you'll like. :D

Here's both hands. Think the gradient got better on my cindy but ofc the freehand was better on my left hand.

Im trying to get on phase on my blog so here is this months nail challenge collaborative. The theme is the 80's and here I've done a revamp of a mani from @haiduchi. I've done a mani swap with this one too. :) Stamped stars and just dabs of colors, just love it! :)

Sailor water decal nail art with Nicole Diary

The decals come in one paper with a set of 10, When looking at the pattern it is possible to see cut lines for the scissor to simplify the size you need. My nails are both wide and long and I had no problem fitting my nails to it. I cut out the pieces and removed the protective plastic (this is important, if you forget, the decal will glue itself to the plastic and end up useless) and let it become fully wet by the water. I used a small plate and had less then 0,5 cm of water in it, after I pick the pieces up with a tweezer and placed them on my fully dry pre-painted nails. Since these water decals are clear I decided to use white as a base. The decals are possible to rearrange some after placement and also possible to stretch a bit and even out the pattern on the nail (as my nails are curved I need to make sure the pattern sits flat allover). It was easy to remove the pieces outside on my cuticle with acetone and a q-tip. After the decals had dried I put on top coat. I've previously had problem with Seche Vite smudging my water decals but these didn't seem to have problem with this.. As an accent here I used some Essence stickers I got on sale when I lived in Germany.
