Easter bunny pastel funky french

It's Nail Art Sunday and still some Easter vibes left. Feels like I've eaten way too little chocolate and candy for it to count. I usually try to buy some large chocolate bunny to eat but no one this year. At least I had some bunnies on my nails. This design I actually saw when googeling and decided to recreate it, check out original photo HERE.

I painted my nails with a jelly beige and then painted thin lines with pastel polishes to hide the almost naked nail. And bunnies on accent nails. I liked this design and did it in both shiny and matte. Hope you'll like it too because now I have one of those picture spams again ;)

Did you prefer the shiny or matte version? What do you think about seeing matte and shiny in the same post, do you like it or is it too many pictures? Some times I've divided it into one matte post and one shiny post, is that a better option? :) What do you think?

Easter egg nail art

I thought easter was next week but apparently it is now and I've done an appropriate but simple nail art. As you see it's cracked easter eggs and my eggs has gradients. I really like the pastel purple combined with the teal polish and the black glitter. I think that gradient and color combo could be useful for other, non-easter occasions too. Hope you like it. :)

Pretty and Polished - Everybody Loves Penguin swatch

Here I have Everybody Loves Penguin. I don't know what's penguin about this and maybe it's not so easter either but there's yellow glitter in it so it counts. ;)

This is 4-5 coats and still some VNL but not like if it's bothersome.

The polish has a white jelly base with yellow smaller sized hexagon and two sizes of black opaque hexagons. The yellow hexagons are semi shiny, metallic looking but not shiny like regular glitter per ce.  The largest of the black are 4mm and not that common, and I needed to do some fishing and some what placing of them.

I really loved this polish, the only sad thing is that it needed so many coats because I think one manicure needed about 1/5 or 1/6 of the whole bottle which was 5ml. I will try getting my hands of a full-size bottle if possible (There where no large ones available last time). Maybe I'll use it for layering the next time because as I said I really likes this color/glitter combination.

For safety I used two coats of SV so the black large glitter wouldn't stick up from the surface, even though they sunk in surprisingly well in the polish.

China Glaze - Happy go Lucky

For today I have a lovely yellow creme. I bought it because I'd read that it was a two coater, and because I love yellow ;)

However I ended up needing three coats for my nails for this. Maybe I made them too thin. When I did a nail art with them I needed just two so I guess it depends on how thick the coats are.

The color looked a bit colder in the bottle than on the nails where the polish appeared warmer.

I'm really happy I bought this though, it's my first(!) CG bright yellow. :) I want to buy more of them though, I would like to find more nuances. And maybe some cremes with shimmer in like the one I saw yesterday at ClawsInColor.
