2015 31DC2015 - Day 7; b&w - cartoon inspired black and white paw nail art

Today it's the black and white theme for 31 day challenge, a theme which is a favorite of mine. I also choose to combine this for the pet theme in the Nail Challenge Collaborative. In my mind I see this as cat paws or dog paws. I wanted to make it quite clean and abstract so I did free hand paws in a straight line rather than "swirly". Also did a reverse accent nail on each hand. :)

31DC2013 Day 30; Pink panther nail art

Today's prompt is inspired by a tutorial and my choice was something made by LOVE4NAILS and if you haven't heard of her, she makes awesome youtube tutorials of different nail art on her long beautiful nails. I've followed her for at least 5 years and her videos was probably what inspired me to continue and learn how to do proper nail art. My choice fell on her quite new pink panther nail art tutorial which I've included at the bottom of this post. I did some changes and didn't follow the tutorial 100%, for example mine is done with polish and she has made her version with acrylics.. I like my result (I mean it's possible to see that it's the pink panther) but it's quite obvious that her version is much more realistic. My favorite part of this nail art is actually the nails with the paws, they're so cute.. haha :D

31DC2013 Day 13; Fox nail art

Oh my, what is this? A second post? Yes, it is, maybe you've seen that I'm a bit ahead with this challenge hence that I mostly schedule all posts early in the morning, because believe me, I'm not up that early! ;) And since I don't mind catching up the dates (since I started this some days behind) you'll now get day 13, which is animal print. I didn't want to do the regular (leopard spots or zebra stripes which I btw adore) and I really wanted to challenge my self with something different. Then I saw this amazingly cute fox nail art on pinterest and decided to make my own take on it. Which meant that I cartooned it a bit..haha And I hope you understand how I interpret animal print and fox. A fox really don't have a print per ce, but still with the color and white tipped tail it's still impossible to not interpret it as a fox. Oh well, you get the picture. And yea, I think this is simply so cute and lovely! <3

I actually made a very subtle gradient with the white and the blue which is barely visible in the pics. The rest is done with a dotting tool and fine liner.

Cats in love funky french nail art

It's Sunday and let's look at some nail art I did for some weeks ago. With some luck Lelack is back and in that case I'm joining Nail Art Sunday. :D

I'm actually more of a dog person than a cat person, but that doesn't stop me from doing a cat nail art, right? Basically we here have cats (in love), paws, and a funky french with a gradient of three colors. The original idea isn't mine, my boyfriend's dad suggested that I'd do this one because he found something similar to this on facebook. I changed the original some to make it more my style, however the cats didn't turn out as cool as I would have liked. I'd really like to redo this nail art some time.

The last picture is a bonus pic with my hand posing with a beautiful Turk's cap lily (Lilium martagon), (also called Krollilja in Sweden).
