Teal flower stamping nail art

Here's a nail art for a birthday collab for @secretjewelgarden. The theme was using something teal, red and/or purple and floral. :)

Black and silver leopard nails + makeup haul

 Oh I've been lazy. I've been so tired this week and at Thursday even I understood why, full bursting cold with all the nasty effects of it. I'm still not good, but think I'll go to work tomorrow anyhow.

Anyhow, I've got 4 manis posted on my IG while nothing happened here. So let's change that. :) First out is my black and silver leopard mani which was inspired by the mascara I recently bought. :D

Here's what I bought, foundation primer (kicks), foundation(maybelline), mascara(kicks), eye liner (kicks), lipstick pencil (kicks), matte powder (isadora), and eye shadow primer (kicks). Basically a lot of Kicks products. So far I've tried most of the stuff. Worth mentioning is the the foundation primer which actually works really well. The lipstick pencil is great except that it dries my lips after a while. And the eye liner last without ever smudging, but is also a bit harder to applicate as I'm used to a pencil, not a marker tip. And well, the foundation, mascara and powder I've used before and they work great for me. :)

 Yay, finally 31 day challenge 2016 and here's my red mani. I decided to stamp this floral pattern over a nude base mani. Hope you'll like. :)

Freehand 3D water melon nail art

I just love making water melon nail art but somehow I haven't got them photographed before.

I did a neon pink to pink gradient. Did the green smiley and the water melon pattern outside. Then seeds and outlining and shine in white. Hope you'll like. :D

Here's both hands. Think the gradient got better on my cindy but ofc the freehand was better on my left hand.

Black, white and blue framed glitter gradient

Here is my previous When Colours Collide nail art, the color scheme was black white and blue and I knew I wanted to use my black Kleancolor glitter on a blue-white gradient and decided to frame it and mattify it. I'm happy with the result. :)

Black and yellow Scottish plaid nail art skittelette

Hi, today I have a review with the Ladyqueen plaid water decal's. I received a sheet of paper which can be cut in any shape wanted, but if cutting according to my nails I could get 10 pieces, however I decided to make a skittelette nail art to make it more interesting. I painted my nails yellow to have a similar base as the water decals.

I first cut the rectangle shape of my nails and then rounded the edges to better fit my nails and to have less to remove. I used a little plate with water (the water height was like 5 mm), just enough to cover the paper. Important is to first remove the plastic before putting them in water, otherwise it might tattoo it self to the plastic..Then I used a tweezer to pick them up. The decal was easy to place since I could move them around and slide them into position. The water decals where quite sheer so it was really good I had a suiting base. After I let them dry from the water and later applied top coat. My pointer, which was my first finger looked great but when I applied tc to my others they smudge some, despite me being very careful. I will have to look into methods to avoid that in the future, advices are welcome. :)

Except for water decals I did black glitter gradients and also did 3 black texture nails. I felt it was unusual for me to make so contrasting nails to a manicure but somehow I liked it.

Here you see the size of the paper and the color of polish I choose for my base. The paper was enough for 10 nails on the width. Length wise my nails could have been way longer.

Here you see how I cut them and you can also see them sliding off the paper. Here you can also somewhat see the sheerness of them, a neutral fresh base would be preferred. :)

Gold and teal nail art with metallic gold temporary tatto's

Hi everybody! Today I'm showing last color theme for @whencolourscollide, gold and teal and this is what I come up with. I did a teal gradient in two teal nuances and embellished this with some gold tattoos LadyQueen has given to me for review a while back.

I knew from the start that I wanted to combine the tattoos on both my nails and hands for a cool nail art look and it worked really good for both. I cut the tattoo in pieces and put it in a plate with enough water to cover them up, after 30-60 sec (when I saw that it was all wet) I used a tweezer to pick em' up. I will show my nails both with and without top coat here, with tc it wrinkled the gold slightly but not in a bad way and the durability has been great, 5 days (and now I just want change anyhow). On my hands/fingers the durability was as expected way less, as I've seen before on the hands it last for about a day, so it's more for special occasions on the hands. A good thing (which surprised me) is that it wears off in a nice way. It is NOT as the kids tattoos I used when I was a child which got dirty/blackish when they got old. The gold tattos first got slightly less gold colored, and got more of a silver tone and then just discretely started to wear off. I'm happy with this product and I'm already planning more looks with it, especially for summer with sightly more tanned hands. :)

Here you see the pieces I cut out and put in water. Also some comparison pics of without and with top coat on. Without tc it looks really smooth and with tc is looks slightly wrinkled but also way more metallic.
