Classical New Year's nail art

For this Nail Art Sunday (the last one this year!) I'll show you a New Years nail art, however I think that it would work all year around. It's very classical and in my eyes very beautiful. Sadly I can't take credit for the design, I saw something similar for some years ago and this is my interpretation. Enjoy!

Holo and holo glitter with the rainbows.

Something I'll change till next time is to either use 1MM rhinestones instead of 2MM's or having just three rhinestones in a row, in stead of four. I think that it will look better then. Another thing worth mentioning is that after I'd done the french manicure I added the silver holo as a base, I then added the large silver glitter. I did this so that I could use less coats of the glitter making so it wouldn't get too thick.

Color Club - Harp on it (silver holo)
Paris Memories (large glitter holo in a clear base)

White sloping funky french

 Here I have a white sloping funky french with at least some christmas and and winter feel to it. At least the colors. Flowers aren't that winter like, but this one is in gold so.. ;)

 A very simple nail art but I like it.

 Sad thing is that the fine liner I've used, is very sheer, so in some light it doesn't show so much. I'll remember for next time to only paint it on the white and not both like I did here.

Gala Nails stuffed with rhinestones and holo

It's Sunday, and lets skip Halloween, spiders, spider webs and pumpkins for awhile because it's Lela's nail art Sunday's with predetermined themes. The theme of this Sunday was "Gala".

As key words, my mind went to glamorous, large events, movie stars, red carpet, prom, large festivity, party, bling bling and editorial classical nails. I thought about french manicures and rhinestones. And very long nails, like Linda's from Lindas Nailorama got. However, I'm stuck with my own nails so this below is what I made. I actually made another one yesterday but realized that I'd missed the mark completely so I removed it and did this night time. :)

I don't know what to call it, it might be some sort of funky french with an "invisible" arrow.  :)

My thought was that the scattered holo could be translated into some sort of glamorous expensive long dress, silky rhinestoned all over. And maybe embellished with an open back with blue crystals. Neat and simple, yet luxurious (at least in my mind).

And amazingly the sun was shining to day allowing me to actually show you have it actually looks. In some light and pictures as you can see below the black appears more like a blackish shimmer, but I think that's cool too. :)

All pictures have one layer of topcoat over but I think I'll put one more to be able to keep this design on longer. :)

Hope you liked it! "Gala" leaves room for a lot of interpretation so I'm very exited to see what all you others out there have done! :D

Graduation nails

Since it is graduation times here in Sweden I thought it would be nice with an appropriate mani. It is a simple but nice white french mani with black nail stickers on the accent nails.

Polishes used are a white Sure Promise (two-way nail polish) for the smiley and Wet n wild E71504 (a pearl shimmer with blue shimmer) as base.
