Anyone feeling lovesome?, because this is Lovesome, from P2. And it's from their "Sand style collection" and is as you understand a texture polish. I'm really impressed by P2, the formula is great and application is a dream. This was maybe a bit thin so it demands 3 coats on it's own but here I've actually layered it over a red and then used only 2 coats. The red color looks slightly cold toned, ie. goes towards blue, rather than yellow on the nails. Which means that a thin coat feels more pink toned red than tomato red. It is completely filled with gold shimmer/tiny tiny glitter and it reminds me of that red/gold texture from OPI or Isadora. However I don't have those so I can't compare. I really like this polish though, red elegance with a twist of gold.
This was 2,45 euro at DM.

NCC presents: Monochromatic glitter gradient in red
This month the theme of the NCC is "monochromatic" which I have interpreted as doing manicures in nuances of one color. I decided for something simple and elegant; red creme with a red glitter gradient on top. This looked stunning IRL,sadly I don't think the photos capture it as well. Also, I wanted to mattify this one, but time did that thing and it was instead time for removal. I'm also thinking this might be suiting for Christmas, even though it isn't necessarily a christmas-nail art. Hope you'll like this mani. :)

P2 - Dating Time, swatch
P2 is a brand which isn't mentioned much, but the things I've heard are only good things and happily it seems true. P2 quite cheap with only 1.75 euro for its 11ML bottle. Dating time is a vamp dark red creme, reminding me of blood. A very elegant and deep color. The formula was creamy and pigmented and almost covered in one coat but the second really gave depth to the color. I can't wait to try the other colors if this only needed 2 coats and also dried pretty quick! :D
Bought at DM in germany for 1,75 euro.

Jordana - Rowdy Red, swatch
Let me present; my new favorite red polish of all my red polishes; the creme textured Rowdy Red from Jordana. It's super pigmented and I suspect short nails could use just 1 coat but I used 2 coats for my long nails. The formula is also great making it possible to do the most perfect lines close to the cuticles without messing. The red nuance feels like 100% bright red, no pink or orange under tones at all. I just love this!

Red velvet nails/ nails with red flocking powder
I know some of you like to see fails and ugly stuff? Today is that day, today I'm showing my first (and so far only) try with flocking powder. In favor of the flocking powder it was my first try and the last nail I did, my pinkie, looked the best so let's start looking at that one:
Clearly most of my nails got bald spots. The worst is my ring finger which was the the nail I tried first.
And this is how messy it looked doing..
I applied red nail polish and then I dipped my nail (and apparently most of my finger) in the powder. One finger at the time and let it dry. After that I started the tedious work to tap my nails to a piece of paper and the majority of the powder actually fell off, except from the nails of course. The rest of the excess I actually washed away and that don't seem to be a problem at all. The "fur" dried super quickly.
I bought this at ebay for almost nothing so it wasn't that big of a loss. However I can't say that I liked it so much.. If you want to check out more red, but probably more good looking red nails, check out Red Tuesday.
Have you tried flocking powder? Do you like how it looks? Have you seen some good looking nail art/manicures with it?

Claudia - 607, swatch
Hi, today I have an elegant red polish to show. This one is from Claudia and it has a jelly like formula and I needed 3 coats for it. It was also very cheap so if you see it I recommend it however it's not an unusual red nuance, but one everyone needs at least one of. If you want to check out more red polishes you'd better check out Red Thuesday. ;)
You liked it? :) Looking forward for your comments. :)

ZTIZ nail polish (red), swatch
I feel so occupied for the moment so today will be a quick post. I'm behind answering comments and reading blogs again but of course work, studies and life in general (my bf turns 30 this week and I must prepare for that) is more important.
Today I'm showing red (it's Red Tuesday!) and I realize that I have way too few good red polishes. I'd really like to have a good one-coater creme red, which I don't have at the moment.
Today I'm showing a red polish from the brand ZTIZ nail polish. It's a budget brand bought for 10 SEK (which is as you remember like 1€, £0,8 or $1,45) at Dollarstore(shop here in Sweden). Unfortunately I don't know the number of this polish since the bottle has some wear and tear (think I bought it like that). This polish has some jelly tendencies and as you can see in the pictures there's a slight vnl but it doesn't show at all because this baby is super glossy which hide the vnl irl. I remember I used 3 coats for this with a normal drying time. It's a super elegant polish and HERE you can see my latest nail art with it.
Do you know any good one-coater red creme polishes? Then tell me in the comment section ;) Take care!

Oopsie Daisies - Ladybug, swatch
Hi, this Thuesday I'll show you my favorite red polish which is from the indie brand Oopsie Daises and is called Ladybug. The name is perfect for the polish since it's jelly with the color "english red" filled with matte black hexagons in
two sizes. The color becomes much more vibrant red on the nails than the
bottle as you can see in the pictures. I used 3 coats but 2 would probably do for shorter nails, IRL the VNL wasn't that noticeable at all but I've tried layer this polish over a regular red and that worked too. I noticed that it was important to spread/place the glitter with the first coat, otherwise the glitter starts to cluster like on my middle finger on second and third coat. I also used 2 coats of SV to make it super smooth and even more glossy than before. Do I need to say I really loved this?! Now, that we established that this is beautiful I'm going to tell you the bad parts..after I'd removed the polish I had the most ugly stains ever; red dotted stains where the black glitter had been. My nails looked like if they had a decease and the staining took months to go away. It's still my favorite red but next time I'll use double coats of base coat..
There's plenty of theme days out there and today I've managed to join Red Thuesday at En mammas naglar. It a nail blog written in swedish and she'll link more red polished blogs today.
