Lavelle - 349, swatch

I know summer has ended but that doesn't stop us from wearing bright colors, right? (even though I feel slight more into the more dark and dull colors during autumn). Today I'm showing the russian brand Lavelle - 349 which is from their "special" gold line. 349 is a neon jelly with sparse metallic glitter inside making it more complex than your usual neon. I used 3 coats here which on the photos show some VNL, but which didn't bother me irl. The bottle is different and fun in one way, but that also made the brush part a bit shorter than what I'm use to. All in all this is unique in my stash considering the glitter and I really like it.

 This was from a maniswap with @Lakobotan, great choice. ;)

Glam of Sweden - 175, skull bottle polish, swatch

I just knew I needed this, not because of the color per ce (it's just a common neon yellow) but because of the skull shaped bottle. <3 I knew beforehand that the polish needed about 4 coats (which it did) and was a bit thick. But hey, who cares?  Next time I can layer it over white. The neon color looks really vibrant and had a normal drying time. The slight vnl wasn't visible irl at all btw. Anyhow, really happy with this one.

Here's a bonus in direct sun light. :)

El Corazon - 423/122 Fenechka, swatch

Today I'm showing the russian brand; El Corazon - 423/122 Fenechka, which is a yellow neon crelly/jelly with matte black and white glitter. I think I used 2-3 coats and application was easy. Sadly the images came out a bit crappy but I really liked the polish so this wasn't the last time you'll see this. ;)

Oh extra info for the curious. Lakobotan tells me that "Fenechka" is the word often used for handmade bracelets. Often thiner types of bracelets. :)

31DC2013 Day 16; Neon tribal nail art

According to the 31 day challenge today is all about tribal print. I really like tribal prints on nails, it's very versatile however this is only my second nail art with it. The previous one you can see here and I pretty much used the same "pattern" even though as I said the variation possibilities are huge. I early decided that I wanted a neon yellow and from that grew the rest, from the crackle polish (which I think work excellent here looking like dried clay) and the pattern came. This time I choose to make the nail art layout the same on each nail and the pattern is slightly different on each nail. So here you have it;

Polishes used;
Isadora - Latte queen (crackle)
Jordana Pop Art - Black Mark
Kleancolor - Funky Yellow
Nordic Cap - NP13 (as a base for the neon to make it extra bright)

China Glaze - Sun-Kissed, swatch

Today I'm showing a polish from China Glaze 2012 collection; Summer neon collection. This one is called Sun-Kissed and is a yellow neon filled with shimmer. That's my favorite with these neons, the shimmer which really makes the neon look more vibrant and unique. Pictures shows three coats and with top coat. One thing I really like is that a white base isn't necessary like for many other neons and I really recommend this one and the other's from the collection. Now, lots of pictures! :D

I just love neons! :D Don't you?

Uninhibited Glow Stick

hihi, laughs at my cunning title.. ;) Before the autumn fully take's it grip I want to show you some neon. I do love neon and as a bonus there will be a neon comparison here as well, but we'll start with the nail art.

First we have Orly - Glow stick and over that I made a glitter gradient with L.A. girl - Uninhibited. I think I maybe did the gradient too glittery making it too black but I really like the concept of neon color and matte black glitter!

I really like the color of Glow Stick, it's such a great yellow neon color. It stands out from my other yellow neons because it has a hint of green in it making it "cold" and even more "neon".

Obviously I made a mini comparison:

Since neons always tend to be sheer I have a white base on all nails. All polishes have two coats on them, even though Funky yellow could have done with just one and maybe YPDB could have needed one extra coat, thinking back. My fingers looks really brown but I think that the nails are correct and that's the most important. As you can see Glowstick is really less yellow that the others. Kleancolor - Funky yellow is the most yellow, then followed by China Glaze - Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.

And the nail art on the comparison nails: I actually think that the difference of the polishes comes out even more with the black glitter.

And the last picture is with a giant cloudberry. When I wore this nails me and my dad where picking them. :)
