NCC presents - Hollow metal studs and geometrical nail art in black and silver

Time for my 3rd Nail Challenge Collaborative nail art this month with the theme Punk & rock. Again I went for the more rock like manicure. Here I also was able to use the cool Hollowed nail art decorations from Born Pretty Store which I've been given to review. More info below but basically I really liked them. :)

Polishes and materials used:
P2 - Black Glitter
Essence - City Girls Rules!
Nordic Cap -NP12
BornPrettyStore Hollow studs: item id: 25153 Link here.

Here you see a closeup, the wheel come in a variety of shapes and both in gold and silver. They where surprisingly easy to attach to the nails with only top coat and lasted really well.

Gold and teal nail art with metallic gold temporary tatto's

Hi everybody! Today I'm showing last color theme for @whencolourscollide, gold and teal and this is what I come up with. I did a teal gradient in two teal nuances and embellished this with some gold tattoos LadyQueen has given to me for review a while back.

I knew from the start that I wanted to combine the tattoos on both my nails and hands for a cool nail art look and it worked really good for both. I cut the tattoo in pieces and put it in a plate with enough water to cover them up, after 30-60 sec (when I saw that it was all wet) I used a tweezer to pick em' up. I will show my nails both with and without top coat here, with tc it wrinkled the gold slightly but not in a bad way and the durability has been great, 5 days (and now I just want change anyhow). On my hands/fingers the durability was as expected way less, as I've seen before on the hands it last for about a day, so it's more for special occasions on the hands. A good thing (which surprised me) is that it wears off in a nice way. It is NOT as the kids tattoos I used when I was a child which got dirty/blackish when they got old. The gold tattos first got slightly less gold colored, and got more of a silver tone and then just discretely started to wear off. I'm happy with this product and I'm already planning more looks with it, especially for summer with sightly more tanned hands. :)

Here you see the pieces I cut out and put in water. Also some comparison pics of without and with top coat on. Without tc it looks really smooth and with tc is looks slightly wrinkled but also way more metallic.

NCC presents: Distressed nail art in black and silver

Happy Easter to you all. :) Been a bit slow in publishing lately but here is my second Punk & Rock inspired nail art for Nail Challenge Collaborative. I decided to make a distressed nail art with a black base and silver on top. I also decorated with a skull charm from Born Pretty Store which I painted black with nail polish. :)

Black and red rose and heart nail art

This is my last #whencolourscollide color challenge when the theme was red and black. Red and black has for long been a favorite of mine, here I did some rose stamping, glitter gradient and I also painted two heart metal studs in black to get the look. I also decided to mattify this one. This is one of those nail art's I just adore, I can also see my self wearing this in more black+color (like green, blue, purple etc) in the future. :)

Wet n Wild - I Red A Good Book/Ballon Rouge
L.A Girl - Uninhibited

Hi, here's a quickie with Claire's - 16633 (I don't get why they didn't give this one a real name, they usually do), which is matte hex glitters in black, pastel blue and shiny pink hex glitters in a clear base. I decided to mattify the whole thing with Claire's matte top coat. Fun and simple. :)

NCC presents: Spike stud punk rock nail art

The theme for Nail Challenge Collaborative this month is Punk & Rock, and yea, I knew what I wanted to try out, yeees... spike studs. :D I bought the studs from ebay and tbh I'm not sure if these are meant for nail art or something else. No matter what, I've seen this nail art several times before and wanted to try it out, just for fun. I knew from the beginning that this wasn't wearable or even long lasting, but hey, I see this one more as conceptual art, than a manicure per ce. Hope you'll like it. ^_^

Made a little artsy pic too, with one of my fav necklaces and some suiting jewelries. ^^
