Rapsodi - 187, swatch

This is a brand I've bought in Crete and I've used if before but I haven't showed this one alone before. The formula is sheer but covered after 3 coats and the finish is glass like. I used Seche Vite as usual which only added to the shine but I didn't find 187 to be especially fast drying and got a bump after a while. The color is a warm middle tone purple even though the pictures are slightly a bit too cold/blue toned on my screen.

Blue flower funky french

I did a nail art over Pink Lemonade II which I showed you yesterday, I'm not 100% happy with the result, but I hope you'll like it anyhow. Maybe it's because it perhaps has some unintentional Easter feel to it? What do you think?

Rapsodi - 175, swatch

This is a duchrome polish which I bought in a vacation in Crete. The main colors in the bottle are green and pink. I've tried this before on it's own and it was too sheer so here I've layered in on a black creme. I've actually swatched this before but the photos came out crappy so I decided to reuse this polish.

One coat on black makes it look mostly pink and here I'm showing it with 2 coats on top of  black creme. It's hard to photograph it properly, but the main colors showing is a pale pink with dirty mud like green "sides". Depending on the light and angle of the hand I see pale pink, green, brown, bronze/golden, warm hot pink and even purple.

This last one is only one coat, the brush strokes shows more and the colors seems mostly pink.

I really like this polish even though it's not my favorite duochorme/multichrome polish and I almost regret not buying more when the cost was something like 1 euro. I'm also going to try layer it over green in the future and see how that will look like. :)

Halloween glitter gradient

Hi, as you might know I having a Halloween theme week and today I'm showing a Halloween gradient, or that's at least what I call it. I was thinking about "Halloween colors", and the orange and black combination are given, I've also seen a lot of green and purple. So basically I decided to have a purple base and then used Spooky Floam (which I showed earlier) to make a inverted glitter gradient. I think the result came out really cool, not overly "Halloween like", more elegant but still with some classical Halloween colors. Hope you like it!

Added a close up to show how the orange glitter really pop! And yea, btw everything which was "floamed" here glowed in the dark! ;) Not too bad.

Purple Converse shoes nail art

Nail Art Sunday again, and the theme for today was Converse, since Lelack wanted to compel spring to arrive. I must admit I wasn't stoked over the theme, I'm not a converse person but I've seen some people which look good in the shoes too. First I aimed for something that would be a free interpretation of Converse. Maybe some other spring sign? Spring flowers? Any other shoe? The city Converse in Texas? Texas? America? converse as in conversation? Maybe do something graphical of a cool converse shoe? Maybe something graphical of the all star-logo? and etcetera. And then I chickened out, saw a cool converse nail art and remembered that I had an aubergine colored polish untried bought in Turkey about 4-5 years ago. And figured that it would look cool for this nail art. I also figured that it would be cool since the only time I've been close of buying converse like shoes, it was a purple high heel converse.

Enough rambling and on to my nail art. We can put it like this, I'm not that content over the lacing, it looks if a child did that,  but I promise, it was me! ;) haha

 I like my thumb the best and if I'm going to redo this some time I'll make the lacing more like that.

 And yes, all then nails got conversed, I had a plan that this would look cool and I'd were it for some days. Now I'm not sure but they've yet not been removed anyhow. I mean I do like laced nails.

I'll show better shots of the purple polish some other day. It actually looks different in different lights but I think the one below, the picture at the very top and the bottle picture looks most accurate.

 And here above you also see the Converse Heels I almost bought. (and I realize I still want..)

This manicure is actually very "foreign" in all ways. Converse shoes are American, the purple is Turkish, I think Jordana comes from America, the white fine liner is from Hong Kong and the white large bottle is from Crete.

Pastel funky french with dots and stripes

It has been empty here this weekend but when time isn't around it is how it is. Yesterday me and my bf went skiing 9 kilometers and then I went to a birthday party. Today I've been hangover tired. Anyhow, of cause I still wanted to participate in Lelack's Nail Art Sunday! Today the theme was "stripes/line" so today I'll show stripes and some dots too. ;)

 First I made a funky french in pastel purple. I actually made a gradient on the french with white and added some holo to it too. Sadly that totally disappeared in this photos, you can only slightly see a subtle gradient. IRL it looked less subtle at least.

 This is a very simple nail art but I still like it, the lines and the dots makes it more interesting.

 I really like pastel purple, here I used two coats but it's almost like i one would be enough.
