Layering with Etude house - #121 Boom Boom Boom

Hi! Posting every day just failed..however today I have a layering done with with Etude house over a subtle gray gradient.

I saw Boom Boom Boom at ebay and knew I wanted to grab it. It has matte diamond shaped glitter in white, red, black and purple, and also glittery silver diamond shaped glitter, and then matte black and white string glitter in a clear base.

I like the concept of this (it's btw also my first polish with diamond shaped glitter) but as usual I don't like the combo of glittery glitter+ matte glitter in the same polish. And to complain a bit more the string glitter was of the long kind (I like string glitter but I prefer the short type). Basically this is 3 or 4 "dabbing and placing" coats. Not my favorite but still totally unique in my collection.

Polishes used:
Etude house - #121 Boom Boom Boom

HM - Miss Stone Heart
Kleancolor - Concrete Gray

What do you think? Got any proposals for base colors for this one?

  2. I have to admit, my first thought was - what a Gelic-like glitter! I love your gradient and that you layered it with this glitter!!! I agree though on the glittery glitter / matte glitter combo - for me it is also either or. And then I am not overly into bar glitter - but yes, it is a totally unique mix!!!

  5. Not too sure what I should think about the glitter polish. It's fun and all but I guess it would be one of those polishes I use once and that's it xD
But I really love the subtle gradient. It's the lastest thing now and I have yet to try it out. :D

    1. Yea, it's a weird glitter, but I guess I like it for that. I have many polishes though and I guess it will be unused for quite some time because there's so many other more interesting polishes out there too of course.

    1. Yes! Totally agree and with the job I'm having now it is impossible :( And I'm too occupied catching up with my life during the weekends that I almost haven't got time for the blog then either. Luckily this job ends next week.

      And thanks! ;P
