NCC presents: Fimo flower nail art with stamped leafs in pink and blue

Hi! Here is the last of the May theme Spring Flowers for the Nail Challenge Collaborative. I figured it was some time since I used some fimos and I decided for some pink flower fimos. For this I decided to use a blue base and then stamp leafs with my new Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate I bought for some weeks ago. I'm really happy with this, both color combo and everything. Hope you like it too. :)

Here you see the image plate in full. It's the BP-50 and has four full pattern. Each pattern is big enough for my long nails and I experience the pattern to be well etched and easy to pick up. I bought this plate from BornPrettyStore, and if you want too, you can use my 10% discount code: NGL91

NCC presents: Spring flower nail art

Something happened, like life and I got behind in NCC and blogging. However, the manicures where done in advance, I just didn't have time to post them, so this is still for the May theme; Spring Flowers. I had an idea of making a pastel blue base, did some saran wrap with white and added matte glitter , then I wanted tiny dandelions. The last part wasn't as successful, it could basically be any yellow flowers. However the outcome feel a bit spring like at least. Not my fav nail art of all time, but here it is:

NCC presents: Multicolor tulip funky french

As I mentioned before the theme is spring flowers in the nail challenge collaborative and some flowers I really consider as a spring sign is tulips.  I decided to make a "tulip funky french" again, my previous one was in red and white and this time I wanted to make it a bit more multi color, something like the inspo pic below.

NCC presents: Wood Anemone nail art in green

Hi, long time no seen. I've been busy and I've also neglected the NCC the whole month (even though I've done mani's during the month). The theme for the Nail Challenge Collaborative this month is Spring Flowers. My first spring flower nail art is inspired by Wood Anemone or "Vitsippa" as we say in Sweden. Also, this is my contribution to Green Wednesday.

I started off with a green to nude gradient. Then matte green glitter on top and then freehanded Wood Anemone inspired flowers placed random. At the end I have a photo I took just the other week with actual Wood Anemones, all for you to compare.. haha :)  Hope you like it!

KIKO - 341, swatch

For this Blue Monday I have KIKO - 341 which is a slight dark but still very bright blue with a hint of green in it. I'd describe it as aqua. (The second pic might the the most color accurate, the others a slightly too light) The formula was awesome, almost one coat but in the end I needed 2 coats to make it 100% opaque.

P2 - Toffee Time, swatch

This is the black sheep in the collection, I assume more pinks will be sold than brown at least. ;) But it do feel super unusual and not even KIKO had a brown like this. And I just had to have it.. it's too weird to miss out on, at least for me.

The base color is a light (but not necessarily pastel) and cold toned brown, like mud and more like the color taupe (purple undertones) than chocolate brown. The others from the Crisp Color collection also feel like they're mixed with "white" and they're crelly like while Toffee Time is more jelly. In this one the shredded particles is red and that dark brown. Surprisingly this was much thinner than the other in the collection. Most of them have been quite thin on the first coat, but because of the texture, the second coat has filled them up perfectly. However here I needed 3 coats and therefore this probably is slightly more slow drying. I actually don't think it's that ugly, it feels unusual and is definitely unique in my stash.

So people, what do you think about this? Is this cool mud or is it poo? Does this makes your face wrinkle in horror like Mrs Data described some previous textures or do you find it interesting?

P2 - Honey Fluff, swatch

Honey Fluff (isn't that name fun btw?) is a yellow pastel with red and that dark brown/violet shredded particles in it. I was hoping for the yellow to be more bright and clear yellow, but it reminds me more of a muted nude/orange yellow tone. It's nice but will not be the super favorite I assumed it to be, even though I of course like it a lot. Application was easy and I needed 2 coats.
