Lush Lacquer - Green Genie, swatch
It's Wednesday and I'm participating in Vacker&Underbar's Green Wednesday with this green polish from Lush Lacquer called Green Genie.
You know, I always makes notes about each polish I try and this is what
I've written about this; "3 coats, horrible formula, too much glitter".
Well as the other Lush Lacquer this is a glitter filled pastel green
crelly and as the other the formula is a mess. It's sticky and there's
too much glitter making the surface uneven and the large glitter chips
easily of and if they where at the tip of the nail the rest of the nail
polish chips of too which happened so fast I didn't get the chance to
photograph it unchipped like above..
The glitter are matte hexagons in different
sizes and in the color range of orange, purple, neon yellow, neon pink
and neon blue.
I think that the idea of this is great but the result isn't my favorite. If you're intending of buying this you really should be aware of the application problems.

Vilket härligt lack. Borde verkligen skaffa något lush!

DeleteSer lite knottrigt ut, men färgerna är superhärliga.
ReplyDeleteJo, det är ju ett annat problem med detta lack. Eftersom det är så tjockt med alla glitter så blir det gropigt och knottrigt. Detta trots två lager SV...
DeleteMen javisst, färgen och det matta glittret är ju i teorin underbart! :) På bild ser det ju ändå okej ut, men det är i verkligheten medan man bär det som man blir lite leds.
Det är ju väldigt fint men ja, formulan är hemsk.

DeleteThat's a shame to read about the application problems, that can be such a deal breaker for me :c That said I do really like the combination of colours, just a shame it took so much work! xx
ReplyDeleteYes I agree..It's a really cool combination so it's such a shame teh formula is so bad. I'l try layering it some time and see if that improve anything. :)

ReplyDeleteJa, håller med. Är nog det lack(ehm... alla lush lacquerlack egentligen då) i samlingen som har sämst formula och det är ju sjukt! :O

DeleteEtt av de värsta lack jag målat med. Men fint i flaskan.
ReplyDeleteJag kan bara hålla med, ett av de värsta jag också lackat med. Klistrigt, seg, droppigt och rinnigt på samma gång och tjockt med glitter. Så synd för den hade kunnat bli en favorit om formulan varit okej.
