Vintage rose nail art

Today it is the actual Valentines day which means that I 'll count on a large number of participants in Valentine Polish Week ;) I don't think anyone has missed it by now but me and Traces Of Polish have organized this theme week and everybody can join and add their links in the inlinkz link up, the more the merrier, right? ;)

When thinking about it I think I should have chosen a more romantic nail art for the actual day but instead I went the opposite and I have another not so Valentine like nail art. I started with a mint green base, made stripes and an accent nail with freehanded roses. Now thinking back I wish I'd done one more accent nail. If I got time I'll try making another nail art too but I can't make any promises. ;)

Polishes used:

  7. Gorgeous work, Gelic :D I love the mint green and pink together and I like that this is a vintage look. It shakes things up from typical valentines day nails and I like that! I planned to get so many valentines day nails done but it just didn't happen! xx

  11. YAAAAAAAAYZ!! I have the same H&M polish at home!!! I'm so happy now :D :D :D :D because I fell in love with the shade on your nails and thought I need it so bad! And now when I saw it's Mint Madness I had to check my drawer, I have only two H&M polishes that I got when I was in London (since sadly, we don't have nail polishes in H&M here in Czech :(( Such a shame!) and I have pink and green shades and oh my god, luckily the green is just this one! :D :D Now you must think I'm a total weirdo :D but it's a great feeling :D I love greens and I can't believe I haven't tried this one on my nails yet! Well, I'll definitely painting Mint Madness on as my next colour :D
So back to you - really gorgeous nails, and what I love about this (apart of the green polish :D) is that it's not a typical V-day nail art, but still it's one of the cutest, I'd totally wear it, since it's cheerful, soft and sweet and the colours go really well together :)
And I love your ring! Fits really nicely with the nails *-*

    1. Haha, I know the feeling ;) One gets super excited over something and realizes that one already owns it! Double-win :D

Sad to hear that you can't get hold of the HM polishes where you live. I think they're a bit expensive, like china glaze is cheaper for example. But HM (and CG too oc) got awesome colors and great quality so I have plenty of them. Here HM cost 4,25 euro original price, but sometime they're on sale for 1 euro and that's when I usually buy.. ;) They also got special limited editions for 3,20 euro. If you know some special polishes that I can find here I could send them to you. I don't know what the shipping is so I don't know if it's "worth" it, maybe it would get unnecessary expensive for you. On the other hand some polishes are "have_to_have_polishes" haha lol :D

And thanks btw :D Think I bought the ring at ebay :D
