Smitten Polish - Chocolate Bunny Soup

Hi, today I'm showing such a fun and happy nail polish! I just knew that I needed this, I mean it's called Chocolate... :D Additionally I don't have anything looking even close to similar to it.

As I knew when I ordered it, it's a jelly and therefore sheer and I used 5 coats. The color of the jelly is basically chocolate brown and there's some round glitter in pink, blue and yellow. The formula is a bit tricky but now unmanageable. The fun thing is that this really looks like chocolate, I can SO understand the name of the polish(!) and also the formula reminded me of how chocolate acts when warm..haha However each coat dries in no time and the result is very shiny and glossy. This one, as my other Smitten Polish'es, I've bought at her etsy shop.

The above picture is in sunlight and the other are in natural light unless something else is written.

With flash.

I just love polishes like this one, the inspiration is so clear and the result is so clear. And once again Noelie (who's the person behind Smitten Polish) makes me want a food product just by wearing a polish, this time it's chocolate. Last time it was mint chocolate chip ice cream with Mint Chip... ;)

  1. Chocolate Bunny Soup... sounds kinda creepy in a way. That said, it does look lovely. I love the chocolatey brown background and the colorful specks :-)

    1. Haha, yea, when you think about it, it sounds morbid in a chocolate prank kinda way! :D I don't have that many brown polishes so I really loved this. :)

  2. Hi Gelic - I love the chocolate bunny soup (hey I am Swiss after all and chocolate is nearly our national food next to cheese - LOL)!!! It looks very pretty and yummie on you :-) and it reminds me of the chocolate cakes my mum baked for me when I was a kid - all covered in colorful Smarties :-D

    1. Haha..I think most sweds think of Switzerland as the 'chocolate country' so well... ;) I loved it too though, I mean I love chocolate. And those cakes you're mum used to bake sounded just so amazingly tasty! :D

  3. Fint!

    1. Haha.. me too, I knew that I seriously needed it, if not for the color, then for the name! :D Now it's both. Well, don't let the five coats scare you, they dried in seconds even with of SV so it wasn't annoying. If you like it you should have it, I saw it was still available on etsy ;)
