Zig zag nail art in black and silver

Hi Lovelies! It's Sunday and it feels like if I've saved everything that I had to do this week until today, I wonder how I'll be able to do those 40 h at this 24 hour day.. Well it's not that bad but that how it feels.

Sunday also means something more pleasant, namely Nail Art Sunday at Lelack. This week the theme is free so I decided to show a nail art I did a week ago. Inspired by Traces Of Polishes who showed the zig zag technique at here blog, I knew I wanted to do the same. My problem was that I didn't have any zig zag scissors so I had to wait until I found one. And Zara's version was like a trillion times better than mine... I used a metallic polish and apparently it decided to do some reflective curling (you know when it look curly even though it's completely flat). And then it's that thing about cutting straight lines.. I liked my color combination, but not the fact that it doesn't look so smooth. However this is absolutely not the last time I'll try this technique and I might also try to do a tutorial for this if you want. My scissor set also contained a lot of other patterns than the zig zag pattern so there's a lot of opportunities for fun nail art looks with this! :D

My pattern scissors! Bought only for nail polish/nail art and found in the children area.
The cost was about 50SEK for this set. (about 5,25 euro)
Polishes used:
China Glaze - Sci-Fi
ZTIZ nail polish (black)

  1. Snyggt!
