Studded texture nail art

No. 21 in the 31dnc is texture and I took one of my newest textures (which I've worn multiple times but I haven't shown it in a proper swatch here at the blog yet.). This texture, called Kicks - Moondust, is in their Sugar Lacquer collection and has a dark (I guess black) base and a color shifting glitter in it. The glitter is typically teal/green but in certain angles it looks pink. In the bottle it looks even more fantastic shifting from green, teal, blue, purple, pink and all the way to gold... but that's mostly just visible in the bottle. Anyhow, when I took the photos of this I had bad light conditions and better photos (from the first time I had it on) will come in a future swatch post. For the 31dnc I decided to pimp it up with studs to make it even more rough and rocker like. I like the result even though I think I could have done a better job with the glue at some of the studs.

This picture is with flash.

Bonus pic just to show the color shift potential in the glitter.

  2. Moondust, what a beautiful name :D
I love the studs to this nail arts, definitely rockish and very cool. The color is so pretty and it seems that this type of polish is very...popular? Cause I've seen several brands (maybelline, wibo, p2) having this kind of dark green polish. Well, can't get enough of it anyway so I don't really mind haha ^.^

    1. Thanks! And yes, it is a fun name! And I guess it's as usual, when one brand starts with something EVERYBODY tag along and make copies of it.. Buuuut..as you say, i don't mind either..the more polishes, the merrier.. haha :D

  3. Hey Rock Chick, well done!!! Jezz sent that one to me too (she spoils me rotten) and I loved to wear it - great look with studs though I probably would have gone for silver ones but the gold gives an elegant twist here

  4. Moondust är ett vansinnigt snyggt lack, ännu bättre blir det med topplack för då kommer allt vackert glitter fram:)
Smart att smycka texturlack så enkelt, med bara ett par studs, det behövs inte mycket mer.
